Mexico 2027, the lucky me tour
Three nights in February 2027. Both Mexico City nights are already sold out.
Metamorphosis 2003 · Buena Vista · Hollywood Records
It debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 with 203,000 copies and hit #1 in its second week. Hilary was fifteen, and The Lizzie McGuire Movie had opened that May.
So Yesterday made her the first artist in four months to top Billboard's singles sales chart without an American Idol tie. Come Clean ended up as the Laguna Beach theme.
Released September 28, 2004, on her seventeenth birthday. Japan had it two weeks earlier. More guitar and more black, with the pink intact and studs on top.
That same year, A Cinderella Story opened in July and Raise Your Voice in October. She co-wrote Rock This World, Haters and Mr. James Dean, the last two with Haylie.
A compilation that debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 with 208,000 copies, her second number one.
The new songs were produced by Good Charlotte's Joel and Benji Madden, with Jason Epperson, under the name Dead Executives. Hilary started working with them without telling Hollywood Records.
The dance-floor album. Electropop influenced by The Faint, Gwen Stefani and Beyoncé, written almost entirely with Kara DioGuardi between her breakup with Joel Madden and her parents' separation.
It arrived with brunette hair, black leather and diamonds on an Andrew Macpherson cover, plus an Elizabeth Arden fragrance named after her biggest single.
The compilation that closed out her Hollywood Records contract. Two new songs, three remixes on the standard edition, extra versions in Europe and Japan, and a Leslie Kee cover that Japan had already used for Dignity.
Hilary was saving it for her next album and the label put it here instead. Video by Philip Andelman, premiered on MySpace on October 28, 2008. She had already sung it at the Palacio de los Deportes that January, months before release. And there's an extra voice almost nobody notices, rapper R. Prophet, uncredited.
Eight years after Dignity, and the same year Younger premiered. She recorded it between 2013 and 2015, scrapped the EDM sessions and cut part of the album in Sweden with Bloodshy and Tove Lo.
Tattoo was written by Ed Sheeran, Jake Gosling and Chris Leonard. Matthew Koma co-wrote and produced several songs, and in 2019 the two got married.
From Wendy in 1998 to Sophie in 2022, all 24 of Hilary's on-screen roles, with their details.
