Privacy notice

This notice is offered in English for convenience. The Spanish version is the one that applies if there is any difference between the two.

Who is responsible

Hilary Duff México (HDM), the official fan club in Mexico, is responsible for handling the personal data you share with us in this form, in accordance with the Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties. You can write to us at privacidad@hilaryduffmexico.com.

Our address for the purposes of this notice is Av. P.º de la Reforma 342, Juárez, Cuauhtémoc, 06600 Ciudad de México, CDMX.

What data we ask for

• Identification: first name, last name, date of birth and nickname. Pronouns are optional and only asked for if you want to share them
• Contact: email, WhatsApp, state, city and social handle
• Your story as a fan: since when, how you got here, your album and your song, and your participation in activities

We do not ask for financial or health data. Please avoid writing that kind of information in the free text fields.

To know how many people visit the site we use GoatCounter, a counter that does not use cookies, does not store your IP address and does not identify you.

Pronouns can reveal your gender identity, so we handle them with care. We only keep them if you choose them, we use them only to address you, and by accepting this notice you give your express consent for that use. If you leave it on "Prefer not to say", we store nothing.

What we use it for

• Registering you as a member, assigning your number and issuing your card
• Letting you know about activities, calls and fan projects
• Coordinating logistics at concerts and meetups

If you agree, we also send you Little Voice, the HDM newsletter. You can unsubscribe whenever you want and that does not affect your membership.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or transfer your data, not even to Warner Music México or to promoters. HDM is a non-profit fan club with no commercial relationship with anyone. To operate we use third-party services that store or send the information for us, such as the site hosting and the email service we write to you with. Those providers may have servers outside Mexico and only process the data to provide us the service.

Your ARCO rights

At any time you can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it or object to its use, or withdraw your consent, by writing to privacidad@hilaryduffmexico.com with your name, the email you signed up with and what you need. We reply within a maximum of 20 days. If you believe your rights were not addressed, you can go to the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, the authority on this matter.

Minors

If you are under 18, we need the consent of your mom, dad or guardian to sign you up, and we ask for their email to confirm it.

Changes to this notice

If it changes, we publish it here with the update date.
